Our Story
Clint & Veronica Rhodes
A little side hustle to our side hustle.
Charred Barrel Hattery started the way a lot of good things do — by accident. Clint retired from the phone business and, because sitting still isn't his style, started a dirt-work construction business here in Oklahoma. Then a torn bicep sat him down for a spell, and he filled the days watching hat makers shape felt.
One day "I think I'm gonna do this" turned into a class, a set of tools, and a real passion for the craft. Now it's the two of us — building hats one at a time and taking them out to the people.
We do our shaping and custom work by hand, keep it personal, and treat every hat like it's the only one that matters. Because to the person wearing it, it is.
